Řásnovka

Řásnovka is a picturesque street in the north-east part of the Old Town. It is very narrow and winds several times between the old houses. It connects Haštalské náměstí in the south with the embankment of Vltava in the north. Saint Agnes Monastery is located in the vicinity.

The street was inspirational for Jaroslav Foglar, a famous Czech author who wrote many novels about young Boy Scouts and their adventures nature and dark city streets. One of his novels is called Tajemná Řásnovka ("Mysterious Řásnovka"), although in the book, Řásnovka doesn't refer to this street, but rather to whole fictional district of similar appearance.
