Křižovnické náměstí
From Prague-wiki
Křižovnické náměstí is a square in the Old Town at the eastern end of the Charles Bridge. It is one of the smallest squares in Prague, but yet one of the best known by tourists.
There are several landmarks on Křižovnické náměstí. On the east side there is the Church of Saint Salvator, which forms part of a huge complex of buildings called Clementinum. On the north side of the square there is a monastery of the Order of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star including the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi. On the west side, apart from a wonderful view of Prague Castle across the river, there is the beginning of Charles Bridge, marked by the Old Town Bridge Tower. And in the centre of the square, there is a beautiful Monument to Emperor Charles IV.
